i finally caught sofia coppola's marie antoinette for the first time last night. while it's no secret that sofia's notorious mediocre writing is in constant need of improvement i found the movie to be a pleasant delight. in fact, i loved it, loved it soo much to the point of obsession. everything from the vast cinematography, to the beautiful costumes, to the chemistry between the charming dauphine and the awkward yet endearing dauphin, to the abundant sweets and to the palette of colours was visually stunning. while i've never been a fan of kirsten dunst's i have always envied her efortless style and natural glow and her sympathetic portrayal of the fallen queen of france ultimately won me over. 
Her hair in the second picture is perfect! Love the flowers.
